Overview of Roxann Bond

Roxann Bond was a mother to 3 children who needed and loved her very much. Family and friends described her as very strong-willed and kindhearted. Her favorite song was a 1970's jingle written by Barry Manilow. The commercial was very popular back then and still is today. The lyrics start with, 'I am stuck on Band-Aid brand, cause Band-Aid's stuck on me!' Roxann was living in Dry Prong, LA, and was only 47 years old at the time of her death on 11/25/2016.

On Thanksgiving evening around 7:00 PM, authorities responded to a call about an unresponsive person on the side of the road in the 7500 block of East Industrial Avenue in Baton Rouge, LA. There they found Roxann Bond, who had been shot multiple times in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. Roxann was living in Dry Prong, LA, yet she was found almost 2 1/2 hours away in Baton Rouge, LA. What was Roxann doing in Baton Rouge, and who would want to take the life of this mother?
