On a hot July day...

Penny Krajeski was found brutally murdered in her Chicago apartment. Penny was living there alone, and had just been emancipated from her family. Her body was in the apartment alone for days, until police discovered her. The apartment had no signs of forced entry, but there was a sign of a struggle.

"You never get over it," said Nancy Galanti. "35 years later and here I am still crying."

Penny's sisters Nancy and Paula are still searching for any information about this cold case, which has never produced any solid leads or arrests. For Nancy and Paula, time has stood still since July of 1984.
