Oliver Joseph Brown, Sr., was a father to six children at the time of his death and was only 29 years old.

On Friday, December 11, 2013, around 9 pm, Oliver Sr. was found in front of a home in the 7000 block of Oleander Street. He had been shot several times and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sadly, one of Oliver Sr.'s children, Oliver Joseph Brown, Jr., was also shot and killed in the streets of New Orleans on December 31, 2022. Two men have since been arrested in his case.

Investigators are still looking for possible suspects and motives in Oliver Sr.'s case, and no arrests have been made. This case is still open.
