Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Cold Case Unit arrested a man for a 2015 murder. Around 5:00 p.m. on Aug. 18, 2015, SCMPD officers responded to a shooting in the 200 block of Wilder Drive. Upon arrival, they found Marquail Banner, 20, suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Through their persistent investigative efforts, detectives identified Dominique Daniels, 19, as a suspect in this shooting. This afternoon, Daniels was served his warrant for murder.
