Overview of Margaret Pennington
Margaret "Peggy" Pennington's son and daughter-in-law were watching television together on July 02, 1999, and noted no unusual behavior when Peggy left the residence on foot on that hot summer afternoon. In fact, before leaving, Peggy even mentioned that there was food in the kitchen. Unbeknownst to either of them, Peggy would never be seen or heard from again. Twenty years later, Peggy still remains missing and investigators are no closer to finding her today, than the day she vanished without a trace.
It was the opinion of detectives early on in this investigation, and remains the opinion of those who have investigated Margaret Pennington's disappearance since, that she was likely a victim of homicide.
