2024 Update: After nearly four decades, the remains of a murdered woman discovered in Olive Branch, Mississippi are now identified as Lorie Ann Mealer Pennell, born September 6, 1962. The victim's body was spotted about 7:30 AM by a truck driver traveling southbound on U.S. 78, just east of the Coldwater River bridge and west of the rest area.

Clothing: Light peach-colored short-sleeved pullover top with embroidery on the front and Gloria Vanderbilt blue jeans. No shoes, nor coat, nor undergarments were located. Jewelry: Unknown. Additional Personal Items: Unknown.
