2023 Update: In September 2022, the remains of an unidentified child were found in Galax, Virginia near Iron Ridge Road. Authorities determined that the unidentified individual was a child, white, male and likely between 4 and 7 years of age at the time of his death. On December 21, 2023, Othram in partnership with the Carroll County Sheriff's Office and Virginia State Office of the Chief Medical Examiner identified Logan Bowman as the murdered child discovered in the woods in 2022.

Logan was last seen at home on January 7, 2003 and is missing under suspicious circumstances. He has a healing fracture in his left arm from a previous injury, his teeth are decayed, and he has burn scars on his feet.
