Kenan Knieriem was fishing on his boat approximately 13 miles South of Waikiki when he fell overboard while trying to land a fish. Witnesses onboard jumped in to save him however, they could not bring Knieriem back into the boat and he submerged underwater. An extensive search was conducted however, Knieriem was never located.
