On the afternoon of March 12, 1990, John Evers Robinson, a beloved local musician, was found dead in a practice space for his band. John's body was found two days later, on March 14, 1990. According to police, John's cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head, and the murder weapon is believed to be an instrument. Officials reopened John's case in 2009 when one of officials' persons of interest was being investigated under a federal agency.
