ohn Harris, a cab driver for Vegas Western Cab Co., picked up a fare at Arizona Charlie's Casino, 740 S. Decatur Blvd., Las Vegas, NV at approximately 2:58 a.m. According to the cab "trip sheet", Harris drove the fare to the Fountains at Smoke Ranch apartment complex on Rock Springs Dr. This was the last known contact anyone had with John Harris. At approximately 6:47 a.m., Harris was found inside of his cab, which was still running, in the parking lot of the Sahara Palms Apartments. There were signs of a struggle prior to Harris being shot. Based on the evidence it appeared that Harris had also been robbed. Anyone with information is urged call LVMPD Homicide Section at 702-828-3521.
