Overview of Jessica Ortiz
Jessica Ortiz was last seen leaving the Classic Q bar and pool hall in the 1700 block of South Prairie Avenue in Pueblo, Colorado on April 12, 2007. At the time, she was with her boyfriend of seven years, Wade Albrow, his brother, and another African-American man. Ortiz has not been heard from since that evening.
The day after her disappearance, Albrow dropped off her belongings at her mother's house. He was later arrested and convicted of drugging and raping a woman and served time in prison. Ortiz's family alleges that Albrow abused her, and they were seen arguing at the bar on the night she disappeared. Albrow denies any involvement in her disappearance.
Before Ortiz vanished, she often visited the Bessemer neighborhood on the south side of Pueblo. It is out of character for her to be out of touch with her family, and there has been no activity on her Colorado Quest benefits card since her disappearance.
Despite the suspicions surrounding Albrow, no one has been charged in connection with Ortiz's disappearance, and the case remains unsolved. Anyone with information on this case is urged to contact the Pueblo Crime Stoppers. A photo of Albrow is available in connection with this case.
