Update The Kansas City Police Department has confirmed that the human remains found in February belong to Jamie Toliver, a 29-year-old woman who was reported missing in April 2017. The remains were discovered in the vicinity of Gladstone Boulevard and North Belmont Boulevard. Despite the discovery of Toliver's remains, the police department is still treating the case as a death investigation and not a homicide. The cause of death has yet to be determined and remains unknown. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to uncover any new information that may provide insight into the circumstances surrounding Toliver's disappearance and death. Jamie was last seen by her mother on 04/14/2017 leaving the residence with a friend. The friend said he dropped her off in the area of 39th terrace and Oakley.
