Resurfaced Remains... On February 13, 2004, a citizen reported finding a bone in a desert area near the coordinates of N35.49.27.7 and W115.11.52.6. Detectives responded and determined that the bones were human and were encased in concrete prior to being buried in a shallow grave. The victim was later identified as Jamie Sheldon, who had been reported missing in May 2002. Detectives have been unable to identify a suspect in this case. The LVMPD Homicide Section is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect(s) or obtaining any additional information for this crime.
