Glenn Duval Howlett, a resident of Greensboro, North Carolina, went missing on June 23, 2009, after being last seen in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He made a phone call from a McDonald's restaurant there and it was the last time anyone heard from him.

Prior to his disappearance, Howlett had a history of alcohol problems and an arrest record. His marriage was also going through some difficulties, and his wife had reportedly made threats against him. Despite this, it is unusual for him to be out of contact with his family for so long, and his case remains unsolved.
