Who killed this upstanding father of three?

Geoffrey Ramseth was helping his coworker to her car one evening after a baby shower. She was 7 months pregnant and he wanted to make sure she got in okay. While her car was warming up, a mysterious truck pulls up to the pair in her parked and idling car. A mysterious assailant rolls his window down, and then suddenly aims a gun with a lazer sight on it right at them.

Geoff was a hero

If not for Geoff pushing his coworker down into her seat, she would have taken the barrage of bullets the assailant fired through the windshield. Geoff sustained multiple bullets to the chest and head, killing him instantly. On the other hand, his coworker got a small graze to the neck that required minimal medical attention.

Geoffrey was too busy to make any enemies.
