Do you know what happened to Eugene Cerney?
Our cold case database is in danger of no longer being maintained.
Eugene Albert Cerney went missing on June 9, 2000, from Rolla, Missouri. He left his residence on his bicycle at 9:30 am, telling his wife he was going to town to take care of some business, and never returned. He took his ten-speed bicycle, a small gray bag, and two days' worth of medication with him.
An extensive search of the area was conducted, but no evidence of his whereabouts was found. Cerney enjoyed trading cards and biking, and there were unconfirmed sightings of him in Springfield, Missouri, shortly after he was reported missing. However, authorities were unable to verify that he was in that area, and he was declared legally dead in 2006.
His case remains unsolved.
