Erin was in her garage when Andres Gonzalez Jr., 36, of Fort Wayne, IN, struck her from behind and knocking her into a door. He then kicked her, grabbed her around her throat and slammed her head twice into the concrete floor.
Gonzalez was sentenced to 16 years for voluntary manslaughter.
