Eric Ray Brasley, Sr. was a husband and father to 6 beautiful children. He was a son and a brother who was loved by many family and friends. He was described as someone who had a great personality and always made people laugh and smile. Per his Linked in page, Eric worked as an automotive professional for Ya Ya Automotive Repair for approximately three years.

It was 2 am on Saturday, 03/10/2012 when Eric got into a fight with someone near Ya Ya Automotive. An unknown person drove Eric to Elysian Fields and North Claiborne Avenues when they decided to call 911. Paramedics responded and took him to Tulane Medical Center, where he passed away 2 hours later. During the autopsy, it was discovered that Eric died from head and neck injuries caused by a blow to his head. Eric was only 30 years old at the time of his murder.

No arrests have been made, and this case is still open.
