Overview of David Burney

On June 29, 2007, David purchased a red 1987 Toyota Tercel and planned to drive to Georgia to meet his two daughters. He was last seen at the Jet-Pep gas station/convenience store on Highway 157 in Battleground, AL.

In late August, David's car was located abandoned in the Bankhead Forest off County Road B15 in Winston County, but witnesses reported seeing it there as early as July 7th. It was out of gas and missing the battery, but there was no blood and no sign of struggle.
