Circumstances: Clifford Smith was reported missing by his wife on November 4, 1982. His body was found approximately one month later by trappers in a bayou near the White River north of Seymour, Indiana. Clifford Smith died of gunshot wounds.

UPDATE: Ronald Jack Anderson, 61, was charged with murder in connection with the death of Clifford Smith, who was fatally shot on Oct. 31, 1982
