Christopher Michael Bordere, Sr. was a father of 4 children. He was a husband, son, and brother with many other family and friends who loved him.

It had been a hot day on Monday, 11/06/2017, with highs in the upper 80's. But around 6:30 pm, the temperature began to fall. Christopher Sr. was busy working on a vehicle parked outside his home at 4733 Raymond Joseph Drive in New Orleans when someone shot him multiple times. EMS found him slumped behind the wheel of the vehicle he was working on, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

As investigators were working the crime scene, his adult daughter ran passed the yellow crime scene tape screaming out for her daddy. Authorities had to carry her back behind the yellow tape as she cried that she wanted to see her daddy. He was only 44 years old.

The NOPD is still looking for possible suspects and motives, and no arrests have been made. This case is still open.
