On Monday, March 28th at 2:08 am, Chantel Norville and her companion were shot near the 3900 block of Larchmont Lane on the Southside of Richmond, VA. Police received a report of gunfire at the Larchmont Lane address, but couldn’t find any victims there. Minutes later, they received a call for assistance at the Circle Shopping Center on Hull Street. Chantel and another victim were inside a car. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and her male companion was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The officers have determined that both persons were shot at 3900 block of Larchmont Lane, and then drove themselves to the Circle Shopping Center where they called for help.
