Overview of Chanceler Mccall
Earnest Lee Johnson Jr., 24, was arrested March 11, 2021 and Brandon Jelani McCullough, 29, was taken into custody one day later. Both Decatur men have been charged with felony murder, kidnapping and aggravated assault, court records show.
DeKalb police allege Johnson shot McCall with an AR-15 rifle. McCullough also shot him, then helped Johnson dispose of the body, investigators contend.
