Barbara Hoover vanished without a trace on September 09, 2003, from her home in Silver Springs.

Not only did she leave her car behind, but her almost-daily telephone conversations with her adult children abruptly ceased as well on that day. Since then, no one has seen or heard from Barbara ever again.

Within three weeks of her disappearance, Barbara's husband made an impromptu purchase of a motor home and took an unexpected road trip through Nevada, California, and Arizona, ultimately expanding the possible whereabouts of Barbara Hoover to multiple states.

A decade and a half have passed since Barbara disappeared, and the Lyon County Sheriff's Office is still seeking the public's help in finding her.
