A man stopped in a pull out on Alameda Parkway and found the body of a newborn down the embankment. The infant was wrapped in three pieces of blue floral cloth. The newborn was determined to be full-term. The umbilical cord was still attached and had not been tied but torn from the placenta. The mother might have suffered from uterine bleeding following the birth.
