Overview of Amalia "Molly" Garza

Amalia Garza was a beloved mother of three kids. She loved her family, her friends, and most of all, her three children. However, no one has been able to locate her since March 1st, 2018, when she said she was attending a party with her live-in boyfriend Steven Rendon. Her last contact was with her mother Sylvia, who told officials that Amalia had planned to call her the next morning, but never did. This immediately triggered an investigation into her whereabouts. Investigations into the party, her property, or her boyfriend revealed no solid leads. Steven Rendon has participated in suspicious activity since her disappearance. Two years after Amalia's disappearance, her boyfriend kidnapped a woman and held her hostage. Steven used the same home that he and Amalia once shared. The woman was held hostage for two weeks and was subject to physical violence from Steven, who also locked the doors and windows and took away her cellphone. She managed to escape on Valentine's Day of 2020.
