In the early 2000s, an “easy” fix for parents to handle what they deemed to be self-destructive or dangerous behavior seen in their children was to have them sent off to schools or programs to be “set straight.”
The children, years later now as adults, say many of these programs were torturous, and designed to brainwash them.
And… they’re coming with evidence.
