The 25-year-old Iowa man was reported missing and endangered after his family received a concerning text message from him. A large scale search was conducted by Utah law enforcement officials in an area located in Emery County, Utah. The search was based on coordinates of the cellphone tower where McCance’s phone was last pinged. Searches by ground and/or air have been conducted daily since McCance was reported missing.
