11:59 PM: Police respond to a domestic violence incident between Khadijah and Negie
A few weeks prior to her disappearance, Fallis assaulted Britton with a hammer and tried to kidnap her unsuccessfully. Britton filed a report soon after the incident.

6:00 PM: Khadijah was last seen
According to witnesses, Khadijah's ex-boyfriend, Negie Fallis arrived at her friends' home, demanding Khadijah to leave the home to speak with him. When she complied, Khadijah was supposedly forced into a black Mercedes sedan at gunpoint by Negie Fallis, the ex-boyfriend. Fallis's new girlfriend, Antonia Bautista Dalson was an accomplice. Police begin searching for both Khadijah and Negie.

Khadijah is reported missing by her stepmother
Three days after anyone last heart from Khadijah, her stopmother filed a missing person's report. Originally, law enforcement didn't suspect that foul play was involved until a witness came forward after a press release.
Negie Fallis is arrested on six charges related to Khadijah's disappearance.
Negie is arrested by tribal police, who were sent out to respond to numerous reports that he was hiding out at a home in Covelo. Negie was booked and charged for assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, attempted murder, and others.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) joins the search for Khadijah
In March of 2018, the FBI joins the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Department in their search and investigation for Khadijah Britton.
Charges against Negie Fallis are dropped by Mendocino County due to lack of evidence
After being arrested in February, Negie refused to talk to police and Mendocino dropped the following charges: felony kidnapping, attempted murder, and domestic violence and reduced the rest of his charges. Due to this, Negie's remaining charge was being a felon in possession of a firearm, lowering his bail from $400,000 to $35,000. Negie was released shortly after.
3:00 AM: Antonia Bautista Dalson is arrested
Antonia Bautista Dalson was arrested for felony suspicion of harboring a wanted felon, her boyfriend, Negie Fallis. She was released shortly after pleading not guilty.
Pond is drained in search efforts
Members of the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office and Mendocino County Search and Rescue drain a pond located a third-mile away from Khadijah's home when K9s show interest. After a thorough search, no human remains or items belonging to Khadijah were found.
Negie Fallis is arrested on unrelated charges
When MCSO police arrive at the scene of a car accident, they recognized Negie Fallis who was the driver of one of the vehicles. He seemed to make an attempt to flee the scene, but when he was unable, law enforcement officers arrested him without incident. Negie was found to be under the influence.Upon searching his car, police found a glass methamphetamine smoking pipe and a stolen loaded handgun underneath the drivers seat. Police also found a Ruger Mini-14 rifle in the back seat of Negie's car. Negie was later given seven charges, unrelated to Khadijah.
