29-year-old Jasmine Host was last seen at her home on Noccalula Drive in Gadsden, AL, a home she shared with her husband Mark Host, housemate Rachel Sears, and several small children. The household had planned to move to Dawson Springs, KY on September 16, 2017, but Sears said when they got up to leave for Kentucky, Jasmine was gone. Jasmine has not been seen or heard from since.

In December of 2021, Host and Sears were arrested in Dawson Springs as fugitives from Alabama in relation to multiple sex-abuse related charges. It is unknown whether these charges are connected to Jasmine's disappearance.
