He was a transient, and road the railroad around the country. He would work awhile and then get back on a train. He always visited areas with family and always visited and stayed with them. The last anyone heard of him was a cousin that received a letter from him in Tiptonville TN, 1965. She wrote him back in the summer of 1965 and her letter was returned to her.
